Napoleon Bonparte stayed in the villa during a trip in Tuscany in search of his family roots.
Villa Bonaparte, dated back 1701, has been restored in 2004, and converted in a luxury holiday villa rental just in the heart of Tuscany. It maintains the integrity of the architecture, while adding all the modern comforts, ie. heating, full air conditioning, top-equipped bathrooms and kitchen. It has been decorated in a warm and elegant style and furnished with many antique pieces.
The villa has a spectacular panorama of the surrounding Tuscan landscape, with rolling hills, fields and the historic town of San Miniato in the distance.The grounds are spralling with gardens and fruit trees, sloping down to the pool with a jacuzzi hot tub. Dramatic views surround the property.

Only 2 kilometers away, the charming town of San Miniato is filled with many shops and restaurants. Each time of the year there are cultural activities. The San Miniato train station is located 3 kilometers from the villa, as well as the motorway junction (Livrono-Firenze). The villa is located just in the heart of Tuscany, at a very convenient distance to the most sightseeings of the region: Pisa and Florence (with international airports) at 45 Kms, San Gimignano at 40Kms, Siena and Volterra at 60 Kms, the beach at 50 Kms.
