This luxury apartment is at the third floor of a 1200 ‘Palazzo Lucchese’ (Lucchese building). It is located in the medieval part of the walled town of Lucca. It takes name from Dante Alighieri, who lived ther for a period, He is considered one of the most famous Italian poets ever.

The entire ‘Palazzo’ has been radically restored for a long time. The restoration was done under strict control of the Monuments and Fine Arts Office, who consider the Palazzo an Italian monument to be preserved. All the flat has been furnished very tastefully with also some original antiques pieces.

The apartment is reachable via the original staircase. It is approx. 120 sqm large, but it looks much bigger because of its high original beamed ceiling. A breathtaking effect is given to the visitor as soon as he enters the flat: the entrance hall has been painted by a local artist with frescoes showing Dante and some friends wearing medieval clothes.

The architecht has used the orginal beams, leaving them at sight. Comfortable sofas and a nice fireplace refine the beauty of the salon. The kitchen is equipped of the most modern facilities, ie. freezer, refrigerator,oven, 4 stoves, dishwasher, microwave, and an antique wood table gives the true feeling to be in Tuscany.

The two double bedrooms are very warm and pretty, also furnished with some antiques.

The two bathrooms are very comfortable, all decorated and floored with touches of art.

The view from the windows is really beautiful: the roofs of the nearby ‘Palazzos’, the old churches, the towers, and the hills far away. This area is a very quiet and peaceful area, with no traffic.
