This one bedroom rental apartment is located in Lucca in a very old section of town, within the city walls. The building itself is nearly one thousand years old. Actually, it has just completed a total renovation of the space, installing new fixtures, floors and walls, but retaining wherever possible pieces of the buildings history - the amazing ceiling beams, for instance, the windows and the main door.

The apartment is on the top floor (three flights of stairs) and is very airy and light.

The large and open space living area is comfortably furnished with a sofa bed a corner/studio with table and chair and the kitchen table seating comfortably up to four persons. A great feature of this apartment is the wi-fi broad band internet access and the 35 inches flat sat tv with surround effects.The kitchen, lofty with its rooftop views, is fully equipped with sink, stovetop, oven, microwave, refrigerator and freezer. There is also a washing machine.

The double bedroom is quite, private, roomy and light with its own ensuite bath.

The apartment looks out over one of the most central Lucca streets on one side and on the charming roofs and old 'Palazzos' on the other side.

Two or three good restaurants, a bicycle rental agency and a tourist information center are within 3 minutes walking.

It's really a wonderful way to experience city life, Italian style.
