New to the rental market, this charming little cottage sits in its own private park, just minutes outside the walled city of Lucca. Quiet, completely fenced and surrounded by greenery, it makes a perfect retreat to use as a base while exploring Lucca and other parts of Tuscany.
The house, approx. 100sqm large, consists of two floors
Newly renovated throughout, the ground floor features a large living room with sat/tv that opens onto a cozy but fully equipped kitchen which features stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and a full supply of cooking and serving utensils. There is also a laundry/utility room on this floor with washing machine and storage area
There are three bedrooms on the second floor. All bedrooms are air-conditioned. The master bedroom features an antique iron bed. The second bedroom has twin beds that can be reconfigured to form a double bed if required. The third bedroom is a single room with one single bed
There are two newly renovated bathrooms featuring beautiful tile work and all new fixtures. The blue and white tiled bathroom is on the second floor next to the master bedroom. A all-white bathroom is on the ground floor
The outside of the property has really large expanse of private lawn that envelops the cottage. The dining pergola, covered with vines, sits just outside the front door and looks out over the pool (12X6mt) which has been set in a sunny spot and is framed by olive trees. There is a full complement of lawn furniture, outside dining table and chairs, and sun umbrellas
Just out of the door there are some wonderful walks and opportunities for mountain biking and trekking. Alternatively, the guests can just relax on one of the many shadowed corners in the large park and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, or walking through the old medioeval narrow stone-paved streets of the close village, really experiencing the true flavour of a small Tuscan hamlet
There are wonderful opportunities for sightseeing in this spectacular region. A short drive will take to Pisa, Florence, Volterra and all the most famous Tuscan villages
In the area there are several good ‘trattoria’ and restaurants.
Our Staff, a pro-Cook for exclusive meals ‘at home’ and two girls for baby-sitter service as well as a private chauffeur are available on request
